There are links on the open source trouble shooting page that talk about
setting your path. If you are doing this interactively, I would follow the
suggestion to do this via SSH and not QSH. There is a specific mailing list
for the open source tool that will have more experts than the general list.
There is also a Ryver chatroom where you can get faster answers.
