You could also do something like:

    DMPOBJ    library/filename    *FILE

for the PF or LF for an SQL TABLE, INDEX or VIEW, and in that dump, search for the "associated space" and in there, you will find the SQL statements used to create the table, index or view -- (that 's where the QSQGNDDL API finds that stuff ...)

Also true for programs with embedded SQL -- after the SQL precompiler does its thing, and invokes the regular compiler, the compiled object will end up having the SQL statements stored in an associated space.  For OPM *PGMs (SQLRPG or SQLCBL etc.) it will be in the "primary associated space" -- for ILE (SQLRPGLE or SQLCBLLE etc.) it will be in a secondary associated space -- each *MODULE has its own associated spaces.

You can also use STRSST to create a dump of these objects, to a spool file.
