CPF0998 - Unattended IPL in progress after abnormal system end - SRC B6000103.

Production LPAR did an unattended IPL after abnormal system end.
All services did auto start after 5 to 10 minutes.

Main Storage Dump sent to IBM for review.

The failure is due to a timer issue.
There was a Timer Request being used in an attempt to start a timer when it was already Queued (e.g. the timer was still running from a previous invocation of start timer)
The fix for this is PTF MF67818 which will be applied during our next IPL for PTF apply.

Anyone in the group experience this or similar issue?

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA48567 :
-----------------------------------------------
CTLPXMxxxxxxxx-S task halted system after module
IoCtlPxmScsiTimerRequest tried to activate a timer that was
already running

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA48567 :
-----------------------------
Licensed Internal Code has been modified to close the small
timing window that caused a concurrency issue resulting in an
attempt to start an already running storage IO timer. Applying
this fix resolves the concurrency issue.

Thank You
