Can you include a clip of your entire RSTLIB command from your joblog.
Did you try Allow object differences . . . . *all
I tried that last week. Today I tried RSTOBJ OBJ(*ALL) SAVLIB(YEAR89) DEV(TAP02) VOL(AYO945) FRCOBJCVN(*YES *ALL). The library being written to is empty anyway, so Allow Object Differences shouldn't be relevant, should it?
Off line answers have pointed me back to the CPF3729 error. The error message related to the shared format with the original file not available is only a severity 10. I should have noticed that.
If the cause is CPF3729, it might indicate that hardware compression was used on the 8mm drive. Good luck to us figuring out what brand/compression scheme that was. I also have a ticket open with IBM.
