put your 01* in quotes. The shell is expanding it before it passes it to the command.

find . -type d -name "01*"

Got something interesting with this:


find . -type d -name 01*

find: 001-2187 The option 01.0000000100008.00004.zip is not valid.


Any idea what the message is all about?
