We're Prodata's competition. And our authorization code utilities have 
been displaying LPAR ID (*not* "partition name," and if by that you mean 
the system name in the upper right corner of the sign-on screen, that's 
absurdly easy to get, and completely useless to me) in both hex and 
decimal since we started tying licenses to specific LPARs (probably over 
a decade ago).

But this is a customer box that has neither of our products installed (a 
long story), and both Mark's solution and Larry's gave me the answer.
