Suddenly, I can't use ftp from my PC to any of our servers.
I get a 425 (not able to open data connection).
I am remotely connected via VPN to our corporate network.
But a co-worker, who is similarly remotely connected, can use ftp to our servers without problems.
Nothing has changed on our servers (except a cache battery replacement on one of them).
Nothing I know of has happened to my Windows 10 PC.
The only thing I can think of is that the Norton Anti-virus product on my PC (it came free with our internet provider),
has been replaced with something that supposedly provides the same protection through my router.
Further, we have applications that use Scott Klement's SMTPR4 code and they all fail when they try to send email through our servers as well.
Here's that error...
ERROR: connect(): A remote host refused an attempted connect operation.
connect(): A remote host refused an attempted connect operation.
Why would requests from my PC to the server be rejected or fail, but the same requests from another PC in another location work fine?
I've tried using the passive mode to no avail.
