This is a common issue with Run SQL Scripts - it just doesn't release the lock after running a statement.

One approach is to run the stop SQL function by itself after you are done with the other statement - this has released the lock, in my experience.

I just tried the menu option to clear all results - no luck there.

Hi all,

I'm testing a program on an ACS 5250 emulator screen. I switch to a SQL
script window to view some results. When I go back to the green screen, I
can't continue to test because my program is trying to do a CLRPFM and the
job running the SQL scripts has locks on the files that I previously
consulted.
I would have thought this was a bug. Can anyone help?
Thanks
