Greetings all--I'm trying to help a customer who recompiled a service
program targeted by an RPC called from a Linux interface. The compile was
successful but the RPC is failing with a "Not found" error. It's a long
weekend in Canada and they've recently lost a key technical person
who walked away with this tribal knowledge, so we have a perfect storm. I
don't have access to their box.
I have suggested they look at the jobs running under the QSERVER, QSYSWRK,
and QUSRWRK subsystems to identify the failing process.
Rather than doing an IPL, can we restart a subsystem, and if so, which one?
Or should we be looking elsewhere?
Thanks,
Reeve
