Ok, I run into this every now and then.

Customers are using java functions that work with IFS objects, and if the
directories and/or objects are journaled, you end up with this error:

java.io.IOException: The specified device does not exist.


I'm curious if anyone knows why Java and journaled IFS objects don't get
along.
