No question there, and as it happens, it's already
non-default-activation-group, so changing it to call puts() from the C
runtime would be fairly simple, as well as being the best long-term solution, and what I'll do if I have to change the source.

I'm trying to avoid doing that right this second, as it would likely
result in some rescheduling. Which is why it's on the Midrange List and
not the RPG List.
