Just to be clear I was not suggesting copying the members outside of spool file operations performed by spool file commands.
Was the outq damaged or just one spool file in the outq? If it was just one spool file then, based on spool file internals, I fail to see how copying all the stuff from one output queue to another will fix it any more than just copying that one spool file.
