Both of these give me a not found:
select 1
from SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
where replace('0110 EXFN 01','_','\_') concat '%' like '0110 EXFN 01
ABCD' escape('\')

select 1
from SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
where replace('____ EXFN 01','_','\_') concat '%' like '0110 EXFN 01
ABCD' escape('\')

I was wondering if a starts-with kind of match would work. These seem to
do the trick.
select 1
from SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
where locate('0110 EXFN 01', '0110 EXFN 01 ABCD') = 1

select 1
from SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
where locate('____ EXFN 01', '0110 EXFN 01 ABCD') = 1

Thanks

replace(t2.column,'_','\_) concat '%' like t1.column escape('\')

untried and off the top of my head.
