As almost always. This is a pattern throughout humanity. At least in
highly developed countries, where the one and only matter which counts is
money, and nothing else. Next on the list is (public) reputation. Some
people never listen and always wait until the "told you so" kicks in. By
then it's too late, money or reputation has been lost and *then* some of
them listen.
Even children have that behavior. Don't touch the hearth, it's hot!
Aaaaah, I burned my hand… I wonder what a proper psychologist has to say
about this pattern. ;-)
