Google search term I used: "ibm i" python excel
The first two are articles that explain step by step what they are
doing. I like the "IBM i rules!" blog better than IT Jungle.
The two PDFs I linked to are by Kevin Adler, an IBMer who is largely
responsible for the open source development tools for PASE. He
includes examples of Python for a variety of uses, not just writing
Excel files. They are mostly code snippets without much if any
explanation, clearly meant more just to expose you to the
possibilities than explain anything in depth. But he "gets" Python
better than most midrangers, and his code is closer to what
experienced, mainly-Python programmers would write.
