IBM has lawyers and deep pockets. This is a huge, even massive issue,
and IBM wishes to be as certain as they can be that the information
provided is as accurate and complete as possible. If someone with an
ibm.com email address were to say: "Nah, IBM i is fine, you're good."
and then your system ends up destroyed by the vulnerability, this might
cause IBM to have to pay those layers to defend them from your lawyers.
And frankly it makes sense to me to consolidate all their statements
into one location so you can keep watching and not miss anything!
I've been dealing with IBM long enough to know this is SOP for such things.
