How do I reset the as400's security officer's password without knowing the
current password?
A client's sys admin/programmer passed away without leaving any
documentation regarding QSECOFR's password.
There is also no documentation regarding the QSECOFR service tools user ID
or password.
We now need to replace the disk controller; to do so we apparently need the
QSECOFR's password and the QSECOFR service tools user ID and password. Or
the ability to reset them to a known value.
Can anyone offer any guidance regarding the issue?
