What's really slow is this:
select count(*)
from table(OBJECT_STATISTICS(
'*ALLUSR',
'*ALL'
)) x;
-- returns 396011

This is really fast:
select count(*)
from table(OBJECT_STATISTICS(
'*ALLUSR',
'*DTAARA'
)) x;
-- returns 7180

IDK about you but I don't think 5 seconds is too long to find all 7,180 data areas on our system and search them for a particular string. I'm down with that.
