I thought the only solution was to set a wrapper program as the trigger and
then have the application logic in another program called by the wrapper.

It was 3+ years ago? that i wrote a trigger pgm(s) to a process.
It was a pita creating/removing triggers because the file was always in
use.
Then i found you can enable/disable existing triggers while the file was
in use.
At least i put some comments in a couple programs to that effect -
** You CANNOT Add or Remove triggers WHILE the file is in use **
** You may Disable or Enable triggers WHILE the file is in use **
And recently i've found i CANT enable/disable triggers while the file is
in use.
Question: Am i losing it or did IBM change something?

Thanks for any help.
