Sometimes you just don't know what might have been done under the covers.
For example some people seem to have a conniption when they've discovered that IBM did things like CHGATR ALWSAV(*NO) on some expendable log directories to avoid save conflicts and went and changed them to ALWSAV(*YES). Who know what else might have been changed.
