Choice programs only allow you to alter the text shown for the choices on the command when prompted, or when a user presses F4=Prompt within a particular field.

Look into using a "Prompt Override Program" (POP) for this situation.

I suppose I could have a *DEFAULT value that does the work on the back end command processing program,  but would a  CHOICEPGM work?
