I'll admit, I was way behind on that upgrade.
I found out the hard way when IBM says out of support on VIOS they, by golly, mean it! Losing a disk drive and having an IBM technician who doesn't know from shinola how to replace a disk drive on VIOS (he literally tried typing in STRSST) and then getting phone support and us both getting taken to the wood shed for running an obsolete version was rather unpleasant.
