There is no DATE_TRUNC() function but a TRUNC_TIMESTAMP function
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.5?topic=functions-trunc-timestamp
which may fit what you want.

Subject: DATE_TRUNC() scalar function does not exist on the IBM i?
I was given a task to adjust some SQL queries that run on an external server
targeting an IBM i.
I found this DATE_TRUNC() scalar function on the original query, and just
found out that this one does not exist on the IBM i (??)
If so, is there another function that does the same?
TIA
Javier.
