Rob,

As far as I know, in the AIX world, "SPs" are like "PTFs" -- Service Packs, and "TLs" are like our IBMi "TRs" ... so a given Technology Level (TL) may need certain SPs, just like certain TR levels require certain prerequisite PTFs.

In the AIX world what does this mean:  SUPPORT FOR FUTURE TL/SP
I'm getting some fix recommendations with this on it.

Searching that full string wasn't helpful but searching for AIX TL sounds like it's a technology level.  Sort of like the IBM i MF99... ptf's being the precursors to new TL's.

Searching for aix sp leads me to believe it's Service Pack.

Sound right?
