Followed instructions per IBM to set up key exchange with an sFTP partner.

Not even getting out of the start gate?

ssh -vvv -T -oPort=23 EDI@xxxxxxxxxxxx
OpenSSH_8.0p1, OpenSSL 1.1.1o  3 May 2022
debug1: Reading configuration data /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/SC1/OpenSSH/etc/ssh_config
debug2: resolving "sftp-dev.com" port 23
debug2: ssh_connect_direct
debug1: Connecting to sftp-dev.com [10.12.16.73] port 23.
debug1: connect to address 10.12.16.73 port 23: Connection timed out
ssh: connect to host sftp-dev.com port 23: Connection timed out

They have whitelisted our IP.

Seems like we don't even get to their server.

We can connect using WinSCP and our private key from another network that is also whitelisted.

Any ideas?

Thx,

Jerry
