RE: IBM I Debugger - connection refused

Thanks Jack.
STRDBG does nothing to help the java client connect (that I can see). But I tried it anyway.
STRDBGSVR shows the debug server already started.

I cannot connect. The java log is showing ‘connection refused’ and the debug client is showing ‘Communications error'
Is there a port we need to have open?
I don’t see anything in the PDF for the debugger mentioning configurations of the IBM i.

1. You have to do STRDBG on the server.
2. You have to choose IBM i: Start Debug Service on VSCode

There are 2 parts to debugging with VSCode ... the good ol' Debug Service on the IBM i and a new TCP/IP port listener, the "Debug Server" to accept your connection from VSCode.
