Why are you qualifying the objects?
You also can work with SQL Naming conventions in ACS, so the library list is searched.

I generally use iACS SQL but I still use STRSQL occasionally.

We have to qualify our table names in iACS and if we want to paste the SQL into an RPG program I have to remove the libraries.

Stop using STRSQL and use ACS run SQL Scripts instead ... and you will

Subject: Trying to check if IFS object exists

I posted to the RPG list about a problem with Scott K.'s IFSDIR function.
I'm trying to see if a file name exists in my IFS but I want to use a
wildcard.

I decided to try and use this SQL but the path_name returns *POINTER.
Do I need to cast the result or something? V7R3
