Re: How to do FTP using TN5250 Mochasoft

Thanks, I just changed my Mochasoft settings and made similar changes in
IBM i ACS like below and then I am able to use password with special
characters (which i had set on Mochasoft) at all these channels :- IBM i
ACS, FTP,File Zilla, VS Code.

TN5250 Mochasoft version 3.8 Settings:-

Port Number : 992 (SSL/TLS) and Terminal size: 24*80

Tools--->options---> Language:-

AS/400 Code page (language) :- Austria/Germany (273)

use Windows OS default encoding(recommended)


IBM i ACS (IBM i Access Client Solutions
(64-bit)
Version: 1.1.9.2
Build id: 3131) settings:-

Coomunication --->Configure --->Destination Port : 992
Protocol:- Telnet-TLS/SSL
Screen Size : 24*80
Host Code Page : 273 Germany



But for SSH ( for below command on command prompt like below ) it gives
the error "Permission denied, please try again."

ssh -p 2222 myuserid@xxxxxxxxxx

Permission denied, please try again.

So what to do to correct this SSH error now?

Note :-- Anyone has any idea because of above symmetry in settings of
Mochasoft and IBM i ACS what did it change in the individual settings of
FTP,VS Code, File Zilla because my understanding is that these changes were
specific to Mochasoft & IBM i ACS only but what above settings changed in
the configuration of these channels so that they started connecting now
with 'pub400.com' because earlier they gave their own set of errors.
