I don't understand the question...

QM Queries are SQL based, unlike Query/400 queries..

RTVQMQRY is designed to convert Query/400 queries to QM ones.

For QM, simply do
- STRQM
- 1. Work with Query Manager queries
- Then 5=Display on the query of interest.

If the TYPE is SQL, you'll see the SQL.  Otherwise if the type is prompted
you'll see a pseudo-Query/400 interface that walks you through the various
clauses of an SQL statement.  But simply using F18=Display SQL will show
the SQL that is/was being written for you.
