I have a tigger defined for UPDATE/CREATE/DELETE.

Does the trigger only update if the data is actually changed, or does the
process of writing to the file cause it to update? In other words, if I do
an RPG UPDATE but what I write to the file is exactly with is already in
the file, does the trigger execute? On one hand I did an update to the
file on the other hand the data did'nt actually change. Trigger or no
trigger?
