Got a customer box. We want to set up something to send me a message if
our software detects a problem.
One of their users gave me this command:
SNDDST TYPE(*LMSG) tointnet((jamesl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)) DSTD('DSTD
field') LONGMSG('this is the text for the message') USRID(*CURRENT)
DOCD('DOCD field')
If she does it, signed on as her account, a message actually arrives.
If I do it, signed on as my account, I get "Send distribution completed
successfully," but nothing actually happens.
Given that what I know about SNDDST, and $2, might buy you a small cup
of cheap coffee (I don't know; I never touch the stuff), I have no idea
what the problem could be.
