I'm having repeated instances of failure in attempting to install Client Access Solutions on a number of machines. At least one of these machine was a virgin install of Windows.
First I install the current 64-bit JRE. Then I attempt to install the current Client Access Solutions 64-bit for all users. The install finishes saying there were errors. The log complains about file association reassignment not working. And Access Client Solutions does not function or even run. I'm running the installation process as Administrator on the PC.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? What's the secret to getting this to install correctly?
