six smaller windows displayed
all across the space and then a main (RCD) format with some HEADER AND
TRAILER information.
<disclaimer> Depending how you code the display </> you should not have
record formats overlapping.
you should have a "Header" format, and a separate "Footer" format.
overlapping fields could cause the symptoms you describe (show on screen
until other format is written)

I have tried just about any DSPF keyword I could found and while the
windows do show up (for a second or so) once the main format is sent theyexfmt
are all cleared.
I use the overlay keyword.
What I do in the program is to do writes for all the windows and then
for the main record.list
Is this something that is doable or is it simply not going to work?
Note there are no input fields on any of the window formats.
