We are looking at updating our password requirements to make them more stringent.
However, a concern has been raised as to how and when the changes will affect end users.
When the new password requirement is put into place, will it only affect users when they go to change their passwords? In other words, no validation at point of password entry for a regular login?
How will this effect accounts that we have for systems where there is no password change required. If the validation only happens at password change time I'm assuming there would be nothing going on for these accounts.
Thanks,
Ken
