SEQUEL is still an option. My former clients are still using it on a daily
basis, and running scripts I wrote over 10 years ago. Looks like Help
Systems became Fortra.

Sal and his group have been around a long time with m-Power.
It's probably worth a look because you can do more than just reports. You
can also create dashboards and data entry apps if I recall correctly.
Another Tibco option if you want something FREE is to look at Jasper Report
Server. They own that toolset now as well but there is still a Community
version.
Someone I know tried to spark a commercial relationship with them on behalf
of one of their customers a few years back, but they didn't seem interested.
Pete Helgren did an RPG wrapper around Jasper several years back.

I watched the video on m-power. Looks really nice... have you tried it out?
Do you have any idea on the cost?
This looks similar to CNX Valence.
I reached out to Tibco about continuing a relationship with them... this was
the response:
"We are currently working on various options to onboard IBM clients and
resellers. It may take us a few more weeks to come up with a plan."
Sure would be nice to know what they're planning before we jump to another
software.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Anyone using the m-Power reporting and tool set?
As we continue our search to migrate away from DB2 Webquery have come across
a few different systems. I was curious if anyone has used the m-Power
reporting and toolset from MRC? One thing that I liked was that it isn't
just a reporting tool and was wondering about getting a bit more bang for my
buck with this system.
Thanks,
Ken Meade
