You can't make this stuff up:

"The Fix Central Team has determined that because of a potential security risk the use of the * sign is no longer allowed on FTPS file transfers."

So no more 'mget *.bin' in your download scripts.

IBM Made this change a bit ago but didn't say anything about it. The email you get with the instructions will be updated to mention this new restriction. IBM Suggest that to automate this, make the connection, do a DIR with output redirected to a file, then process that file and run individual GET commands for each of the bin files. yeah, I'm gonna do that.... NOT.

Alternatively of course, one of the emails that comes indicating your files are ready does list the files. So ou could copy and paste those names from the email into your download script.

Now, for whatever However you may continue to use splat with SFTP. Thus it's much more likely I'm gonna do this instead.
