We've spoken with 7 vendors so far for reporting needs. If you don't have a
need for a pixel-perfect designer tool for advanced form creation, M-Power
is an option.

The M-Power platform is more than just reporting. One of the main selling
points we've been told by pre-sales is the low-code development features.
The platform can facilitate the creation of apps or solutions that run on
your data. If you are tight on development resources, it can help fill in
the gap.

If you need pixel-perfect report designer tools included with your reporting
engine, I'd recommend Jasper Commercial or SEQUEL. Jasper doesn't run on i,
but if you're comfortable deploying it on Linux or Windows (bleh), you'll be
ok.

BTW, in our case we had no trouble reaching out to both the Jasper and
SEQUEL teams. The WebFocus team is the group that you may have a hard time
contacting, as they are focusing on large enterprises right now. If you're a
larger company and want to stay close to Web Query roots, they could be a
match.

I have used it for the past 10 years and like it. It is pretty powerful.
