This has not always been obvious - doing an override after opening a file in some way has never had an effect.

Oh, for me this was obvious. I probably still remembered that ovrdbf is a preparatory measure for later steps.

I'm just surprised that ovrdbf seems to pass on information so many layers deep that the SQL engine buried deep into SLIC apparently adheres to it.
