As I relooked through the thread, I wanted to make sure we are all on the same page as for the 'locking up' issue.
What happens is that when I click on the 'configure' button, nothing happens. I can go to another non ibm i, odbc DSN and modify to my heart's content.
So it's not really locking up... it's just that it won't open the configure section for the ibm i drivers once it's been created and set up.

I've run into this issue as well. Have tried running as Administrator and other various tricks.
Have had myself set as Admin on local machine, no luck.
Have unloaded and reloaded ACS and ODBC drivers.
Nothing works.
I'm running on Windows 11 on my laptop as well, however, I'm seeing this same problem on a test server running Windows server 2019.
