We have a few seasonal files that purge records more than 90 days old. So, there is a rolling 90 days of data. During holiday, there is a large amount of new records added which are then purged 90 days later. We do a RGZPFM on these files about 90 days after holiday because outside of this holiday bulge, there are never enough records added to use up the deleted space until the next holiday bulge.
