We run Cognos. While it can access data on IBM i, its really designed around storing a static copy of its data on a MS SQL server so that it can build indexes, summary tables, etc. around how it needs them.

Anyone running Cognos? Looking for opinions on how it interacts with data on the IBM i.
I know very little about it.
TIA,
Greg
