I believe that David's penalty for harvesting email addresses is/was making the perpetrator write or modify an RPG II pgm as described below.

It seemed to me that IBM's effort now (as one takeaway from this morning's
webinar) is to train it properly. They noted that it learns best by using
'pairs' so it can compare one method to another.
