Yes, I did start the SSHD, and verified it was running.

are you sure the secure shell daemon is running?

e.g., was the command STRTCPSVR *SSHD ever executed on your system?

On the Connect to SSH panel (I'm connected to the server via a VPN) I get
the MSGGEN003 error (An Input/Output error occurred. (Session.connect:
java.io.IOException: End of IO Stream Read).

I've clicked on the Generate Service Logs button, to no avail, as I don't
understand it.

Where do I start?
