Jim, there were SNA drivers for Windows, Linux, and Sun Solaris (at least, probably more).
They couldn't be SCPs but they could be logical units, also do some APPN stuff .
Also SNA ain't dead yet. It's still around.

SNA was a vastly superior network but it was significantly more difficult than TCP because it was way smarter and absolutely secure. Also did not run on non-IBM equipment.
Died a slow death.
