Hello Miguel,

Hi, I have a partition on 740 with HPR and in another location there is another with 730 with HPR (before they connected via anynet), they connect via HPRIP controlers but I have intermittent connections, thinking it could be some configuration between both operating systems, what could I check?

Note, the correct term is "Enterprise Extender" (EE).

Did this work before or is this a new error?

What you can check is mainly if the APPC controller configuration is "symmetric" to the respective other side. Also, check the qsysopr message queue for clues.

I don't know about AnyNet but EE is said to be fundamentally incompatible with NAT. Could this be an issue?

Can you make sure that there is no underlying network issue, and EE just loses connection therefore?

All in all, my personal experience shows that EE is a lot more resilient when the underlying IP connection isn't stable. AnyNet often lost status synchronization between both sides and required a manual vary off/on of the respective controllers.

HPR is there a concept of collision like in TCPIP?

What kind of collision do you refer to?

:wq! PoC
