Google was not my friend.

I'm writing a program that needs to allocate (via ALCOBJ *EXCL) a number of files. Looking at a scenario where it could need to allocate ~250 files, but it could be more for other scenarios. Is there documentation available that describes such a limit at the job level?

CPI1466 Job holds large number of locks.
This is from our nightly backup, and the second level text reports 30000 locks. It's an informational message helpfully trying to let you know that you may be doing ALCOBJ without a corresponding DLCOBJ.

I also could not locate the maximum in https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.4?topic=availability-maximum-capacities although I didn't look through all of the Redbooks...
