A little late to the party..(I admit to neglecting Midrange-I lately)

Using SQL Services I recently created a small utility (a CMD with RPG CPP)
to let green screen users see the status (JOBQ/Active/MSGW) of their own
batch jobs.
(with F5 refresh)
I guess it can be modified to display all active jobs.

Will be glad to share if needed.

Season Greetings
Gad

I believe that IBM at one time had one PTF to toggle the default behavior
of WRKACTJOB on this issue. A good reason why IBM never just includes all
PTF's on a cume.

I tried searching for WRKACTJOB environment variables. There is one for
the length of the auto refresh. Well, at least at 7.1 there was.

I wrote up a new idea. If you like it please vote on it.
