I am reading this list of software which will no longer be supported beyond
IBM i 7.5 at https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/668193
One thing I have installed is 5770-UME, IBM Universal Manageability
Enablement.
Can I safely remove that? Should I bring the system into restricted state
first?
What functions will I lose, if any, at 7.5?

From what I was reading it was part of CIMOM and UME was installed on new

systems by default. Not that I really understand what CIMOM is or if it's
in use.
The "Related information" for 7.5 CIMOM goes outside of IBM and the links
are broken.
