Nice links.

Good reading.

I'm writing up my own KB on this topic as I'm not sure many have tried this rollout method.

One of my customers wants to roll out ACS without a physical install and this will work nicely.

Also without installing Java JRE locally ?

If iACS finds a java installation in a subdirectory of the directory
of acslaunch program that you use, it will use this java. No need for
any installation. At least for Windows.

Found this about this topic
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/getting-ibm-openj9-java-and-including-it-ibm-i-acs
; of course it works with any version of Java as stated in https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/java-options-ibm-i-access-client-solutions
