Thanks. But what's that good for? I've checked the settings in the subtly different spots in SST and they're set according to the documentation you linked first.

My goal was to reduce the number of screens to hop through when connecting to the console, a bit like Gerald Magnuson described on Jan 31. When comparing an older 7.2 install, and a newer 7.3 install, both connected to a HMC, 7.3 requests much less screens for a console connection when using a 3rd party 5250 emulator connecting to port 2300 on the HMC.
